Redpoint Under New Management

Hi everyone!
Well, you may have noticed that we have had some, ahem, shall we say, rather challenging months at Redpoint staffwise this year. We apologize if Redpoint hasn't had that same old "your favorite local crag shop" flavor lately. Anyway, that has been resolved because we have hired an amazing guy as our new manager. He just moved here from New York with his fiance, Cathryn. His name is Eric Bostard. He has taken the proverbial bull by the horns and is working to bring Redpoint back to it's usual standards and then some!
We are really excited about the new energy and we know you will be too. Some future plans are getting our web site up to speed by bringing in more vendors and also offering special price discounts to our customers. Also, we're going to have a Redpoint newsletter with all the latest sales and happenings at Smith. We're bringing in Monkey Face pint glasses within the next month. This will be the first of several different types of glasses that will definitely be a collector's item. We also have new T shirts coming in, including the popular Climb Like A Girl shirt (here now!) that has been redesigned especially for Redpoint.
We're going to kick it all off with a Shoe Demo on September 20th! There will be plenty of shoes to try on and take down to the crags to sample. At the end of the day is the most popular event, the schwag raffle and, of course, the keg!
We look forward to seeing you as the climbing season approaches. On second thought, it's been really cool lately for August, so the season is already here. Thanks so much for your support of Redpoint in the past and we know you'll love the new and exciting stuff that's coming up.
